From Pieces to Website

This project focused on designing a website for a butcher using materials that were provided beforehand. All content—text and images—was given, and the goal was to create a functional and visually clean layout using that content.

Background

The client for this project was a local butcher looking to refresh his online presence. He wanted a new website for his shop that would better represent his brand and connect with customers in a more engaging way.

Challenge

The core objective was to design a website with a dark theme and a sense of luxury, while maintaining a clean and simple layout to ensure easy navigation and user-friendly functionality.

Solution

The site followed the client’s request for a bold, modern dark theme. I kept the layout clean and simple to help customers find what they need. Core features included a product list, contact info, and store details—practical, not flashy.

Role and contribution

I handled the visual design side of the project. I stuck with the dark theme, then added deep red accents to bring out that luxury vibe while also tying into the butcher’s brand and product focus. I also worked on making the layout easy to follow, paying close attention to spacing, fonts, and how each section flowed into the next

Result

The final result is a clean, focused site with a soft black background and a welcoming hero section. It opens with a brief intro, followed by an ‘About’ section with the logo and company description. A small meat showcase comes next, with shop hours and contact details in the footer for easy access.
