to design things that work beautifully, and make people feel something real.
About Me
As mentioned before, I am Kris, a designer who believes that good design is more than how something looks.
I grew up in southern Denmark, and I’ve always loved creating—whether it was music, sketching ideas, or tinkering with little projects. Over time, that creativity turned into a deep interest in how things work, how they look, and how they can make people feel. That’s what led me to design: the chance to build something that’s both functional and meaningful.
At my core, I’m someone who values reliability, honesty, and steady support. I don’t always speak the loudest, but I care deeply about the people I work with, and I’m at my best when I can create in a way that feels both thoughtful and true.
Design Philosophy
Good design is more than how something looks.
It’s how it feels, how it works, and how it connects with people.
I focus on details, structure, and usability, but also on personality and meaning. To me, design should have a soul.
My goal is simple: to design things that work beautifully, and make people feel something real.
Creative Process
Music plays a big role in my process; it helps me find balance, timing, and flow in my work.
Style and Aesthetics
My style leans toward designs with character.
I’m not drawn to minimalism for its own sake—if it doesn’t feel thoughtful, it loses me. I love things with personality, whether it’s a bold layout, the warmth of 1950s aesthetics, or even the unique rhythm of a piece of music.
While part of being a multimedia designer comes with a variety of skills, I specialize in UI Design specifically.
I’m someone who focuses on the details—sometimes to a fault, but usually it’s a strength. I notice things that others might skim past, and I tend to think deeper about how things work, not just how they look. Whether it’s a design layout or a screen in a car, I’m thinking about how it feels to use, how intuitive it is, and what could make it better.
I’ve got a good eye for color and contrast—what fits, what clashes, and how to use it to bring out the mood or message.
In group settings, I’m usually the quiet one focused on getting my part right, but I speak up when I notice something’s missing or could be improved. I like working with people who want to build something that actually works, not just something that looks cool.
And even though it’s not design in the usual sense, my background in music and rhythm plays a part too—it helps me feel out flow, timing, and balance in a more natural way.
I grew up in a small town in southern Denmark, and honestly? I’ve always liked making things. Even as a little kid, I’d mess around with anything creative—like turning the animal sounds off on my toy keyboard just so I could pretend I was playing real music.
I’m not even sure exactly when design became the thing. I think I just always liked creating—and over time, that turned into noticing details, how things look, how they work, and how they make people feel. Even in music and how different rhythms and instruments can make a big difference.
So I kept following that. I started designing more intentionally, building up experience, and realizing this is what I want to do—create things that work and make people feel something.
I tend to focus on structure, facts, and doing things the right way. I like working with clear rules and expectations, and I’m careful about the choices I make. I prefer to take my time and think things through instead of rushing. I’m motivated by logic and accuracy, and I usually communicate better through writing than speaking. I’m not a big fan of sudden changes or unclear situations—if something matters, I want to get it right.
At the same time, I also value harmony and steadiness, which shows up in how I support others behind the scenes. I don’t always speak up, but I’m always there for the ponies I care about. I like helping in quiet, consistent ways, and I’m most comfortable when things feel calm, respectful, and safe.
I’m an ISTJ, which basically means I’m someone who values structure, logic, and reliability. I prefer facts over guesswork, and I like having a plan before jumping into things. I don’t speak often, but when I do, I try to make it count. I take pride in being dependable and focused, even if I like working in the background more than being noticed. I prefer things that make sense and don’t change without warning. I might seem distant sometimes, but I’m always paying attention—and I always care.
I’m big on design—especially when it’s got personality and actually works. I like stuff that feels like it was made with some thought behind it, not just something clean and minimal for the sake of trends. If it doesn’t have a little soul, I’ll probably lose interest fast.
Cars are a huge passion, too. Especially older ones with gears, noise, and real feedback—something you can feel, not just sit in. I’ve always loved how machines can have character when they’re built right. I’m not a fan of modern cars relying on giant screens for everything—it’s distracting and just takes away from the driving experience.
I’ve also got a soft spot for 1950s design—whether it’s the curves of the cars, the fashion, or just the general aesthetic. There’s a kind of warmth and confidence in that era’s style that I really connect with.
Music’s also a big part of my life. I play a bit and listen a lot, and it helps me think and focus—kind of resets my brain when I’m stuck. Sometimes I just throw on a song and let it loop while I work. It’s one of those things that just makes everything flow better.
I’m basically into anything that mixes function with feeling. If it looks good, works well, and has a little story behind it, I’m in.
