myRenault App Redesign
A one-week personal project focused on redesigning the myRenault app. The goal was to maintain its flat aesthetic while infusing it with the playful and retro-inspired character of the Renault 5 E, blending simplicity with brand personality.
Background
This is a smaller personal project. The idea was to take the myRenault app and try to redesign it to give it more character without taking away functionality.
Challenge
The hardest part was to keep the functionality while also giving it a new fresh look.
Solution
I decided to take elements from the Renault 5 E, as it is one of their newer, more successful cars. That in itself has a lot of personality, that I decided to use in this UI.
Role and Contribution
I stood behind everything with some outside feedback to make sure I didn’t get stuck in one idea.
Results
The results come in the form of a similar but more colorful and stylized layout with tilted sides and the highlighted edges also seen on the Renault 5 E.
